Add the Timecard Report file exported from the time clock. Every file joins one record: dates that overlap and files added twice are counted once, so any export can go in at any time.

Settings

These rules decide how hours, lateness and absences are worked out. They apply to every pay period.

Working day

Work starts Work ends Grace period (minutes)

Someone is late when their first clock-in is after the start time plus the grace period, and leaves early when their last clock-out is before the end time minus it.

Lunch

Unpaid lunch to take off (minutes)

Applies only to days recorded as one unbroken stretch of six hours or more, where the person did not clock out for lunch. Leave at 0 to count the whole stretch.

How the clock's file is read

The clock starts a new day at

The clock is set to change day in the afternoon instead of at midnight, which splits each working day across two report days. With the time entered here, the portal puts each day back together. Clear the box if the clock is later fixed to change day at midnight.

When a day has two punches with the same label hours apart (for example both "IN"), count them as arrival and departure

Days the office was closed

Nobody is marked absent on these dates. A weekday on which no one clocked in at all is already treated as closed.
